During 2016-17 The College of Wooster is preparing a mid-cycle accreditation “Assurance Review” for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The purpose of the review is to give the HLC “assurance” that we continue to meet its criteria for accreditation and to advance us to the next activity in the 10-year cycle, the “quality initiative” project.
Returning to lead the project are Gary Gillund, Associate Professor of Psychology; Anne Nurse, Professor of Sociology; & Ellen Falduto, Chief Information & Planning Officer. We will be following the HLC’s recommendation that the “assurance argument” is to be an update of our self-study.
